How we check Mahjong Ways information
We compare game details with official PG Soft information documents, official PG Soft news pages and the public demo. The information on this site was last checked on 26 October 2026. The game documents used for the two titles are Mahjong Ways version 1.0.r719, with a latest update dated 10 December 2019, and Mahjong Ways 2 version 1.0r792, with a latest update dated 2 August 2022. PG Soft announced Mahjong Ways in December 2019 as its first mahjong-themed slot, then announced Mahjong Ways 2 as its sequel in April 2020.
The public demo is available in several interface languages. This Bangladesh section uses the English interface; the game is called “Cara Mahyong” in Indonesian. Readers can compare the guide with [the official PG Soft game information] (https://www.pgsoft.com/en/games/50/). The demo’s splash screen displays “Dilisensi di Malta” with an MGA logo and “Disertifikasi oleh GA / BMM”. We report what is shown, but do not use that screen to make claims about the legal status of access or play in Bangladesh.

Mahjong Ways facts and editorial boundaries
We keep the two PG Soft titles distinct because their layouts and some feature rules differ. Mahjong Ways has five reels, four rows and 1,024 ways. Mahjong Ways 2 has five reels and an additional row on reels 2, 3 and 4, with 2,000 ways. Both documents describe cascading wins, Wild and Gold Plated symbols, and free spins with a changing multiplier ladder. The games’ published RTP values are long-term theoretical figures; they do not guarantee a particular result or describe an hourly changing rate.
Our free spins and Scatter guide explains the documented trigger rules. We do not present “tricks”, predictors, patterns or hacks as useful: each spin is independent and results come from a random number generator. The official PDFs do not describe a Feature Buy for either title. We also do not treat claims about “Mahjong Ways 3” or a “black Scatter” as features of the PG Soft games. The games are HTML5 titles that can run in a browser or within a gaming platform; we have not found an official standalone Mahjong Ways APK from PG Soft. Bangladesh context and responsible publication
Laws and enforcement are relevant to readers in Bangladesh. Section 20 of the Cyber Security Ordinance, 2025 makes it an offence to create or operate a portal, app or device for gambling in cyberspace, take part in such gambling, assist or encourage it, or advertise or promote it.
