What the Mahjong Ways India information guide offers
Mahjong Ways is the subject of this independent information guide for readers in India. We explain the PG Soft series, including Mahjong Ways and Mahjong Ways 2, and distinguish documented game information from claims we could not confirm. The site is not affiliated with PG Soft, and it does not operate a game or gaming platform.

Who we are
mahjongwaysindo.com is an independent information guide about the Mahjong Ways slot series by Pocket Games Soft (PG Soft). This section is written for readers in India. It covers Mahjong Ways and Mahjong Ways 2, explains terms used in the games and addresses common questions about unofficial claims. We are not PG Soft, its representative, or a gaming platform. Our editorial content does not imply endorsement by the developer.
The guide is intended for adults aged 18 or over. It provides information, not an invitation to play. Any real-money play is offered by third-party gaming platforms, not by this site. We do not promise wins, bonuses, legality or safety. For an overview of this section, visit the Mahjong Ways India home page.

How we check Mahjong Ways information
We check game facts against official PG Soft materials: game information PDFs, official news pages and the public demo. Our last fact check for this page was 26 October 2026. The documents reviewed identify Mahjong Ways as version 1.0.r719, with a latest update date of 10 December 2019, and Mahjong Ways 2 as version 1.0r792, with a latest update date of 2 August 2022. We also compare relevant descriptions with what is shown in the public demo. The demo offers several interface languages; this India section uses its English interface.
PG Soft announced Mahjong Ways in December 2019 as its first mahjong-themed slot and announced Mahjong Ways 2 as its sequel in April 2020. Where we refer to game mechanics, figures or controls, we use the information available for those documented versions rather than treating third-party descriptions as confirmation. You can read our separate explanations of the demo, RTP and max win and Mahjong Ways 2.
A public demo can help readers understand the displayed interface, but it does not establish that a third-party service is authorised or suitable for use in India. We do not claim personal testing beyond what is observable in the public demo. Nor do we represent a demo result as evidence of what a later spin will produce.

Editorial rules and corrections
We aim to separate documented facts from interpretation. We do not present an unverified feature as part of a PG Soft game, and we identify claims we could not confirm. For example, the official PG Soft catalogue lists Mahjong Ways and Mahjong Ways 2; we found no official PG Soft release of Mahjong Ways 3. The term “scatter hitam” is not part of either game's official PDF description. “RTP live” figures that change hourly on third-party pages are not official game RTP values. Our page about Mahjong Ways 3, Super Scatter and myths explains these distinctions without treating other providers’ games as part of this series.
We do not publish predictors, hacks or supposed spin patterns as working methods. Each spin is independent and results are determined by a random number generator. Information can change if the developer publishes updated material, so we review pages against available primary sources and correct errors when identified. Readers can report a factual error or request a correction by contacting us at contact@mahjongwaysindo.com. Please include the page and the detail that needs checking.

Independence and outbound links
Some pages may contain outbound links to third-party gaming platforms. If a reader follows such a link, this site may receive a commission. A commission does not change the game facts we report or mean that PG Soft endorses this guide. We aim to make this commercial relationship clear and keep editorial explanations separate from links. We do not operate accounts, take part in platform registration, or handle gameplay.
The games do not have an account of their own: login and registration are handled by a gaming platform. There is no official standalone Mahjong Ways APK from PG Soft; the games are HTML5 and run in a browser or within a gaming platform. Our app and APK information and login and registration guide explain these points. Links are provided for information and are not a recommendation to use a particular service.

India context and responsible information
The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 applies throughout India and also covers services operated from outside India. It prohibits offering, advertising and promoting online money games and bars banks and payment systems from processing transactions for them. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026 came into force on 1 May 2026; an authority determines whether a game is an online money game. Playing Mahjong Ways for real money is an online money game under this law. The free demo uses virtual credits and involves no money. This is a factual summary, not legal advice or a claim that any platform is lawful. Read our India legal information for more context.
